Terminology

Ask Price:
Amount of Money a Demander pays Performer to Complete a Task. Ask Price can not be less than $10 and must be less than $1,000. Demanders may increase the Ask Price by submitting the Change Task Price Form. The WebSite fee charged to Demander is based upon the Ask Price.
Bid Price:
The Amount of Money a Performer would want to be paid to Complete a Task. The Price a Performer receives to Complete a Task.
Bid=Ask:
When the price a Demander is willing to pay to have a Task Completed equals the price a Performer would want to be paid to Complete that Task. A WebSite condition of Fulfillment.
Completed Task:
When Demander declares the Task Complete. A Task that Performer and Demander has reported Complete to the WebSite. When Task is Completed and Demander acknowledges.
Demander:
The WebSite User who needs a Task Completed. The one who pays to have the Task Posted on the WebSite. The one who decides which Performer will Complete Task. The one who decides when a Task is Completed.
Direct Communications:
When Performer Bids on a Task, information is emailed to the Demander, including email address and References contact information. The Demander can directly communicate with the Performer at this time. Also, if a Demander Asks a Performer to Bid, the email sent to the Performer includes the Demanders contact information and direct communications can begin.
Dishonorable Users:
A User who does not follow the WebSite Rules and/or Policies.
Failure to Perform:
Performer who does not Complete the Task after Fulfillment. Performer is Penalized by decreasing the Number of Tasks that they can bid on and/or Removed from the WebSite.
Final Accounting:
What ZipLabor will do at the end of each semi-annual period. Final Accounting is done by ZipLabor, who is given absolute power.
Fulfillment:
Task is Bid by Performer and Accepted by Demander. The Demanders action of Accepting the Performers Bid and the Performers agreeing to Complete the Task for the Ask Price. When Ask=Bid and Performer is acceptable by Demander. When Demander and Performer are under a Legal Obligation. When Task Bid upon and assigned to a Performer. When Demander reviews Performers qualifications and accepts Performers Bid. When Demanders Ask Price is accepted by Performer and Demander accepts Performer. When Price is set, Performer is approved, terms of agreement determined, the WebSite is notified and communication between Demander and Performer is made.
Fulfillment Time:
Time period between when Task is Posted on the WebSite and when the Demander Accepts the Performers Bid.
Honesty of Users:
Users belief in Fairness and Honesty. The Concept that the WebSite Users are not trying to take advantage of each other.
Honorable User:
A User who follows the Rules and Policies set by the WebSite.
Illegal:
Against International, Federal, State, County, City, or Local law. Like Registering a Task that is illegal or falsifying Performers Qualifications.
Jail:
The place that dishonest people should go.
Need for Users Help:
Please report to the WebSite any illegal or unethical behavior.
Not Biddable:
A Task that Performers should not Bid on because the Ask Price is to low and/or details of Task are not clear. If Task is not biddable, Performer can ask Demander to clarify by using the Ask Demander Question about Task Form.
Out-of-Pocket Costs:
Monies the Demander authorizes a Performer to Spend to Complete a Task. Money that the Demander will reimburse the Performer. Amounts not included in the Ask Price.
Password:
The PassWord User enters when Registering. Without a Password, a Registered User will not be able to access their information. Do not forget your PassWord.
Paying Performer OutSide the System:
Money a Demander gives to Performer after the original Task was reported Completed to the WebSite. Amount of money that must be reported to the WebSite by Demander and Performer. If unreported, a Breech of the Legal Agreement which subjects the WebSite users to Fines & Penalties. The amount reported by Demander is the difference between the total amount paid and the amount previously reported to the Website. The amount to report is limited by the WebSite Maximum Fee of $100 (Equivalent to $400 paid to Performer). For example, if you paid a Performer $700 and previously reported $250 to the Website, Demanders should only report the additional $150 to the Website on the Pay OutSide System Form. Performers would report the $550 additional received.
Penalties:
What you want to avoid. Causes the WebSite users to lose privileges and/or subjected to non-standard fees.
Performer:
A Performer/Provider/Doer of a Task. The Person Registered with the WebSite that can Completes a Task. The Person that performs a Task.
Performer Number:
The Unique Identification Number assigned by the WebSite to a Performer upon Registering.
Performer Task Price
a.k.a. Ask Price. Amount of Money a Performer gets paid by a Demander to Complete a Task.
Price:
Price that will be Paid to Complete Task.
Prohibited:
Things the WebSite user can not do. Demanders and Performers are Prohibited from entering Personal Identifiable Information in areas not so designated (i.e. email address in Task description) See Legal Agreements and Frequently Asked Questions for more details.
Profit orientated:
Business that is in business to make a Profit. A Registered Organization can not be Profit Orientated.
Q and A:
a/k/a Performer Asking Demander Question. Where Performer may ask Demander to Clarify Tasks requirements. Question submitted by Performers to Demander. Demanders respond to questions by changing detail Task information. The Terminology relating to Performers asking Demander question about the Task.
Qualified Organization:
A Local Community Volunteer Group that promotes Youth in their communities. Can be a Charity or Association, but not required to be. A group, with no less than 35 active members, that promotes the WebSite in their communities. Not profit oriented. See Organization Legal Agreement and Frequently Asked Questions for more details.
Rate the Performer:
What Demander can do when Reporting the Completion of a Task to the WebSite. Rating system ( from 1[low] to 5 [high] ) of Performers Completion of Task. Performers Ratings are sent to Demanders when a Performer Bids on their Task. Demanders rate Performers on four Criteria: Communication of Performer; Completion of Task by Performer; Professionalism of Performer; and Overall of Performer.
Rate ZipLabor:
What Demander and Performer can do when reporting the Task Complete to the WebSite. Users rate the WebSite on two Criteria: Effectiveness of WebSite; and Easy of Use of the WebSite. ZipLabor Organizations rate the WebSite by using the Change/Renew Registration Form.
Reference:
The One that will vouch for you. The person a WebSite Users should get permission from before Registering. The Users Reference is emailed Registration Information and any undeliverable emails will result in the Users removal from the WebSite.
Registered Zip Code to Organization:
The Zip Code that a Registered Organization promotes the WebSite in. Zip Code for which Registered Organization receives Royalty checks from, based on activity. The Zip Code in which the Organization promotes awareness of the WebSite. Only One Organization can represent a Zip Code.
Reject:
The Right a Demander has regarding a Performers Bid. What is automatically done after 24 hours to Performers Bid. Demander can reject a Performers Bid for any or no reason.
Reverse Fulfillment:
Slang for what ZipLabor will do if Performer informs Demander that Task will not be Completed as Performer said at time of Fulfillment. Resubmitting a Task to the WebSite. Demander should contact ZipLabor by email, and the WebSite Administrator will re-enter the Task.
Royalty Check:
How ZipLabor pays Registered Organizations. A check given to a Registered Organization, shortly after the end of each semi-annual period. Royalty Checks are mailed via the USPS and paid in US dollars. Any Undeliverable Royalty Check is forfeited to ZipLabor. All Royalty Checks are Voided after 90 Days and forfeited to ZipLabor.
Royalty:
One-half (1/2) of Fee collected by ZipLabor from Demanders. Does not include: Bank Transaction Fees; out-of-pocket costs; non-standard fees; or sales taxes.
Set Price:
Determined by Demander. The Agreed upon Price (Bid = Ask). The Price both the Demander & Performer Agree on to have the Task Completed.
Search by Demander:
A way to find a Performer to Complete a Task. Performers are Searchable by State and any or all of the following search criteria: Zip Code; City; Performer Number; Education; Experience; and/or Tools Available.
Search by Performer:
A way to find a Task to Bid on. Tasks are Searchable by State and any or all of the following search criteria: Zip Code; Task Zip Code; Task City; ZipLabor Task Number; Task Description; Education Required; Experience Required; and/or Tools Required.
Search of Organization Database:
A way unregistered or registered User can relate a Organization to a specific Zip Code. A way a WebSite User can learn the Objectives of an Organization. A way to determine if a Zip Code is available for a Qualified Group.
Service:
Something you do for someone else, to make them happy.
Snail Mail:
First Class Mail delivered by the United States Postal Service.
Submit:
How Information is sent to the WebSite. What Users do with the Forms. Used for many purposes including: Registering, Changing Registration, and Bidding on Tasks.
Task:
What Demander asks Performer to Complete. What Performer is authorized to do by Demander. What must be Lawful.
Task Fee:
The fee paid to Performer (ask price) and the fee paid to the WebSite. Total paid to Performer (80%) and ZipLabor (20%).
Task Finalization:
When the WebSite is notified of the Task being Complete and Performer has been paid by Demander.
Task Listing:
A UnFulfilled Tasks Searchable on the WebSite. What Tasks a Performer can bid on.
Task Number:
The 7 digit Unique Task Identification Number assigned by the WebSite when Demander Registration.
Terms of Use:
The Terms specified by ZipLabor regarding the Users use of the WebSite.
Total Cost to Complete Task:
The Amount of Money a Demander will pay to ZipLabor and Performer to Complete a Task.
Transaction Fee:
Amount Demander pays to the WebSite for processing a Payment. The Transaction Fee is $2.00 per payment by Major credit card or bank debit cards.
Twenty-four Hour Automatic Rejection:
What happens to Performers Bid if no response is received by Performer from the WebSite. If Demander does not respond to Performers bid within 24 hours, Performers bid is automatically rejected. When Performer Bids to Complete a Task, the Demander is notified via e-mail. Demander has 24 hours to accept the Performer or the Bid is automatically rejected.
Under Obligation:
What Demander and Performer are after Fulfillment takes place. What a Fulfilled Task is until Completed. Demander and Performer has Agreed that Performer will Complete the Task and Demander will pay set Price.
Unfulfilled:
A Task listed on the WebSite that is Searchable and a Performer may bid on. A Task submitted by a Demander that is not Fulfilled. A Task not assigned (fulfilled) to a Performer. Performers can only bid on unfulfilled Tasks.
Unreasonable Ask Price:
When Demander Registers a Task at a Price lower then a Qualified Performer will Complete the Task for.
User:
A WebSite Demander, Performer, Organization or Visitor.
Users Computer Name:
The 12 to 16 character name a User inputs when Registering on the WebSite. What a User refers themselves as when dealing with the WebSite.
Withdraw of Task:
When a Demander removes heir Task from the WebSite. What ZipLabor can do under its Rules and Policies without giving Demander Notice.
ZipLabor Fee:
The Fee paid by Demander to the WebSite to Post a Task.
ZipLabor Performer Number:
A number assigned by the WebSite when a Performer Registers. This seven digit number is Performers Unique Identification Number.
